August Events Overview

August 5, 2021

Could any of us imagine few years ago the reality we live in now?… Lockdowns, home schooling, fines for incorrectly worn masks… but here it is. In Sydney, we have the army patrolling our streets.

The events of this year had pushed many of us further, than we would have been prepared to go otherwise. Despite what is going on, we live, we learn, and we evolve. Any experience is beneficial for our inner development.

Bing Shen Month

The month of Fire Monkey begins on the 7th of August. The interaction between monthly and annual pillars is such, that the heavenly stem Bing is controlling the annual Xin. The earthly branch Shen drains the annual branch Chou. Hence, the annual pillar gets weaker, and its transformation starts taking place.

Shen is carrying three hidden stems Geng, Ren and Wu. All three heavenly stems are Yang. In Chinese twelve zodiac cycle, Shen is the time when the Water element is born. Powered by its resource Geng, it smashes all on its way, clearing the path for the new life cycle.

There is no way back once the ice starts melting. Gui (in Chou) transforms into Ren, Xin into Geng, and Ji into Wu. The transition from Yin to Yang has the power to speed up the events.

The earthly branch Shen corresponds to the SW direction and Kun palace in Qi Men Dun Jia chart. This means that the trends which we have seen in July (also corresponding to Kun) will continue, as the components of Kun palace are still active.  The incoming monthly energies will contribute into different dynamics of interaction between the components.

Purple-White Star #8

The Luo Shu of the Fire Monkey month is ruled by the Purple White Star (PWS) #8. It represents the Earth element, and in combination with the 天禽Beast and PWS#6 and Ji, it could relate to major environmental events related to earth movement (earthquakes, sinkholes, landslides etc.).

The PSW#8 is also about wealth, as it relates to Gen trigram and when it rules over the entire chart, we may presume that the world economy may come into focus.

Gen trigram represents the youngest son in a family, and future in general. Most people will be concerned about their future and that of their children.

Gen Palace

(丙丙BingBing – Grow – 天任Trust – 腾蛇Snake – PWS#9 – PWS#2)

In August it is hosting the PWS#2, which relates to Kun trigram. This creates a certain degree of inauspiciousness. Since it belongs to the axis Gen-Kun, active during this time, this influence will be prominent.

This is what we may see or experience:

-Health issues for young men or youth in general

-Information comes to light in relation to health, health officials, or medical science

-Information comes to light in relation to government officials’ behavior or their business dealings

-Disappointment and resentment experienced by the young people

-Instability in fuel related industries, power shortages or internet outages

-Other types of shortages

-Problems related to schools, hospitals, refugees, homeless, inmates

-In public domain, the facts are mixed with carefully designed fiction (腾蛇Snake is Deity of deception)

Kun Palace

壬壬 RenRen – Death – Tie – 玄武 Tortoise – PWS#3 – PWS#5

As we know, Kun trigram relates to Mother, and all things associated with care and service. During the last month its components were interacting with PWS#6 and we have witnessed the events associated with this interaction.

In August, these components interact with the PWS#5.

In Feng Shui this star does not have a particularly good reputation, but in theory, this star is far too complex to be defined in simple terms, such as being positive or negative. In divination, it is the context which sets the parameters, so that the stars interpretation just goes with the flow.

PWS#5 is the strongest star we have. It has the power to create and transform the reality. Nothing can stand on its way.

The situation which we experience now, will start transforming. It is possible that something could happen, such as large-scale environmental situation/s or an industrial accident/s, which may trigger a set of events leading to transformation. This could also be a military conflict (resulting from provocation), or another deadly virus mutation spreading fast. Whatever it is, controlling the situation could be difficult.

This is what we may see or experience:

-Fear and frustration, hard to rationalize actions

-Violent riots

-Explosions

-Shocking news or situations

-Heart Attacks

-Sudden Deaths

-Hard to explain events

-Animals get sick

-Extreme levels of water pollution

-Working and living under pressure

-Mental issues and suicides

-Overdose deaths

-Black magic impacts

-Accidents involving trucks, vans, or marine vessels

-Terrorist acts

-Large-scale destruction

At the same time, the annual PWS#9 ( Fire element) is also becoming a part of the active axis Gen-Kun. It is about the Light, Love and Creativity. It relates through its elemental quality to the 天禽Beast in the center and the PWS#5 in Kun.

The Fire element, which is both, a source of joy and uncontrollable force leading to devastation, comes to the center stage during Bing Shen month. It shines through the darkness of Kun while destabilizing the quiet palace of wealth Gen. Important decisions will need to be made.

On a positive note, we will see more community initiatives, more creativity in the way we tackle daily problems, more cohesion in relationships.

The time around the New Moon on the 8th of August could be particularly challenging. The future is being cast now.

Keep your children safe.
