Somebody send me a message asking what does it mean when the bird flies into your home. Is this a bad omen?
To my experience, it is. Let us briefly look into the theory of divination. All the oracle systems have deep roots. When the ancient priests observed the nature for making their predictions, anything which could not be defined as normal or regular occurrence, was seen as a warning sign.
Observing birds behavior was a popular divination method, as the birds were the closest to the Heaven where the Gods lived, hence they are the messengers of the Gods. We know from the classical texts that the priests would have observed the direction of flying, birds color, their behavior (such as fighting or not), noises, food etc.
This is also reflected in Qi Men Dun Jia, where we read the natural phenomena to forecast the outcome. The birds movement is a part of it.
It seems, that when the birds fly into the door or the window, there is a disturbance in your energy field which communicates with the environment. The birds react to it. By the way, they do have an excellent eyesight and they actually can see where they are going. When they fly into the building, something pulls them in.
It is possible that our energy field or aura is changing when our loved ones are in danger.
Last year when the bird flew into my balcony door in Sydney, it has turned out that around the same time my eighteen year old nephew went for emergency surgery in Ukraine. It was a matter of life and death. Luckily everything went well, but the situation on that day was dangerous.
Living in the big cites we may feel that we have little connection with Nature. This is not true. No matter where we live, we are an integral part of it. We can read the signs, or we can ignore them, but they are always there. The birds behavior, the clouds, the character of the wind, everything is alive and talking to us.
All we need to do is to listen.
