In the time of adversity people tend to look for solutions, so that they can protect themselves and their families. The thing is, no effective solutions can be generated by the mind clouded in fear. What can we do?
Believe it or not, protecting yourself is simpler than you think.
Firstly, reduce the exposure to negative information. This is to protect your emotional health. Listen to your favorite music instead. Read, meditate, recite healing mantras.
Secondly, get outside more often (better early in the morning, or late in the afternoon) and let the Sun shine on you, to enable the production of vitamin D. Get some fresh air, breath deeply, stretch, walk barefoot if you can. Your immune system will love you for it.
Thirdly, try to consume on the regular basis the mood enhancing food, such as buckwheat, pineapples, passionfruit. You can add most tropical fruit to the list. If possible, eliminate alcohol, meat and dairy to raise your vibration.
These three points make any other protection much more effective. They are easy to implement, and they have been proven to make a big difference to your health and well being. Hand sanitizers and masks on their own is not a sufficient protection, as we all know.
This current pandemic is not going to go away anytime soon, and let us face it, we need to get used to the ‘new normal’. So, maybe it is better to start thinking of the positives? Are there any? I would say, yes. The most important one is that we now realize how important it is to look after our most precious asset. Health.
