The Year of the Metal Ox is here and the Chinese New Year celebrations are almost over. This is the time when people, after having read multiple annual forecasts still wonder what to do, as it is clear that things are quite uncertain. It is also clear, that things are now very different. We can feel it. So, what is actually going to happen?
If we were to squash the unfolding reality into the list of keywords for 2021 this would be it: borders, space, drones, nuclear, subzero, ports, genes, poisoning, mutations, arrests, financial fraud, scamming, North, South.
Depending on where you live, you may or may not experience the events associated with the above keywords, but you may see how the news are shaped by these themes.
I have compiled a list of possible developments which we will see on the media, based on the annual 2021 Qi Men Dun Jia chart. My wonderful readers can use their imagination to join the dots, as this list is by no means complete. I have avoided some hot topics on purpose, for obvious reasons.
Every month I will be looking at these and other developments in more detail.
Let us start with the environment:

What is clear, is that this is not going to be just another year in the row of many. This is the year to leave things behind and move on. We need to toughen up. My suggestions would be as follows:
- Take your time. Work on your plans and long term strategies.
- Do not discard your ideas, they may prove to become a gold mine one day (related to Xin)
- Establish new health routine, revise your diet
- For people who tend to have anxiety, interaction with Earth could help to get grounded
- Explore your creativity through arts or starting a new hobby
- Do not jump into making changes to your relationship. This is the time of transition and people may display certain degree of emotional instability. Be patient.
In the year of the Metal Ox we are re-discovering our personal resources and it could be a good idea to put more effort into preserving them. Health, relationships, home, community, spirituality and culture – they are all valuable resources which may have been neglected while we were on the run for more glamorous and exciting experiences.
Look after yourselves and stay safe! 🙂
